Their restaurant, Adams of North Riding in St Andrews, was one of the first in north-east Melbourne to capture the international and local visitor's interest in enjoying good food and good wine. Only minutes from some of the best wineries in the Yarra Valley, Adams of North Riding became renowned for its creative flair and wholesome food, and recognised with The Age Two Hats Good Food Guide Award on four occasions.
Extensive experience
Since Adams of North Riding, Rodney and Marie have expanded their interests, running a number of catering outlets throughout Melbourne. Adams at La Trobe is a conference and event facility, featuring a 150-seat restaurant. Located in the picturesque grounds of La Trobe University, Rodney and Marie have been providing lunch to the discerning academic market since 1994. About five years ago they expanded their management responsibility by taking over the conference and meeting rooms, providing a complete one-stop service for those looking for practical and comprehensive meeting and event facilities with full and professional catering. Their commitment to fresh food, reasonably priced, and a dedication to meeting the needs of their customers has meant that Adams at La Trobe is now one of the most sought after conference and event facilities in north-east Melbourne. As well as maintaining loyal support from the University community, Adams at La Trobe is now used extensively by the business community across the region, particularly those from within Banyule, Darebin, Whittlesea and Nillumbik councils. Their expertise is also used by organisations like Eltham College to help the industry train the hospitality leaders of tomorrow on the necessary skills and attitudes that make Melbourne one of the world's most liveable cities.

Rodney and Marie are passionate about food and wine and are dedicated to providing you with the best quality. They have won a number of awards for quality gourmet catering, including the prestigious The Age Good Food Guide Two Hats Award on four separate occasions. Their passion and knowledge of wine has also been recognized on many occasions with the wine lists at North Riding and La Trobe being rewarded consistently by the Australian Wine List of the Year Awards.
Marie is renowned for her passion for wholesome food including home made breads, spicy fruit butters and chutneys and house-smoked salmon. She takes a personal interest in the menu design at Adams at La Trobe to ensure that you receive the seasonal delights while they are fresh.
